Francesca Capozzi
Hello, nice to meet you! I have been a professor in social psychology at UQAM since August 2022. I completed my PhD at the University of Torino (Italy) in 2016. My project focused on how visual attention modulates human social life in complex scenarios, like groups and crowds, in interaction with important social processes like social status and leadership. I continued my postdoctoral research on social cognition at McGill University (Canada) until 2020. As a postdoc, I continued exploring the interactions between perception and social processes like group dynamics, leadership, and first impression. From 2020 to 2022, I also completed my clinical training in couple and family therapy at McGill’s School of Social Work.
